Layer mask by kiwinessComment: Excellent - good use of B&W and well placed and painted mud/camoflauge. I predict a blue, unless a pretty young female takes it from you ;) Solid 10 from me. |

Part of meby vivienComment: Vivien, right? You are very photogenic and this is a great shot (as have been the shots for your profile images.) I like the way you've done this high key, and there seems to be a motion/brush stroke texture that I really like here, though I'm can't exactly tell how it was done. I like the post, the clarity, but the crop is in-between the extremes, which could make the difference between a good and a really great photo. I see a number of really interesting crops here. One is a relatively square crop in the upper right, showing just your eyes and the bridge of your nose (hard to see exactly the shape of the crop here, since I am just using my hands to simulate it). Another would be to try and find a lower end crop, again moving more towards a square here, which I think works well with the head angle. You are lucky to have such a beautiful subject to photograph. I had a lot less to work with ;) Bumping up. |

Profileby kellianComment: Very nice pose, light and tones. It might be worth considering a crop to put the face more off-center. I think the rightmost part can be cropped almost halfway across towards your ear. I'm sure this will do well. Good luck. |

irreversibleby hopperComment: Congratulations Kris. Was the subject hanging there and balancing the stool with his/her feet? |

A Splitting Headacheby scalvertComment: Shannon--I didn't guess this was yours--to me it's like a beautiful painting! Wonderful. Something I wish I did--maybe that's why it didn't score well for you! ;) |

Abstractby Dim7Comment: This is great and was underrated. I hope you printed this and hung it! The dry brush is an underrated tool in PS. I think the filter use here is rather subtle, I didn't even realize it at first. |
