CollinsBridge.jpgby saracatComment: This is the clear winner of the three. I am mixed about the strong backlighting though. On the one hand, it's different and interesting that way. On the other hand, it seems to dominate. I think some other processing techniques might help to emphasize the bridge, if they are allowed in the contest. For one thing, you could try an "old time" treatment, allowing the edges to vignette with "age".
Anyway, it's hard to see a solution without playing with it, and it's actually nice as is! So when you are satisfied with this one, it's ready for entry! |

Ménage à Troisby BebeComment: Very good triangle entry. The colors just pop and dance in this one. The triangles themselves are very strong and have that cool metallic look! |

Metallic Reflectionsby BebeComment: This is very cool! Great colors and good contrast to the background. You might consider a crop across the top--making it sort of a panoramic and making the kettle go almost top to bottom on the right of the pic. It should be even "stronger" that way! |

I Saw A Sawby elderellComment: This was very cleverly done! I think you could make use of this trick again with another theme--this time including all of the saw blade and chosing your setting very carefully, e.g., in front of a landscape or other "lines and shapes" type settings would make a very cool "geometric abstract". Or even a social commentary, in front of something you think should be "sawed"! |
