runnels on beach.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: I really like the abstract nature of this one! At first I didn't think the dark area should be included at the top, but after examining it longer, I see that it's essential. Lovely!
The "glare" from the overexposed area, IMHO is exactly the same as the dark area. It will bother people who look at parts of the photo and analyze them, but not those who look at the whole and see how the whole is greater than the sum of the parts (gestalt). |

Three Seconds of Fallby NeilComment: Marjo, I sent you a PM, but just for the record here, this is my shot. Shannon and I were together! |

Intrigue IIby Dax-Comment: Wow, this is great! Is it just me, or do I see almost the perfect shape of a woman's body (at an angle, cut off at the top about mid bust line and at the bottom left her legs extend below.)
I am guessing from your title that you see it too. Incredible! |

Magical Morning Mist by jemisonComment: Congratulations on your first ribbon. Terrific shot. The bottom 1/3 could stand on its own, the layers and light is so powerful there! |

IMG_8748web.jpgby smartypantsComment: Excellent! Do you see the central "vertical" thing/structure? You might try some crops that bring that more into the limelight!
You got the shooting part--the other half of the technique is finding the interesting abstract to crop to! |
