Well, almost. Bet she can still hear the little one knocking at the door! Nonetheless, I think your picture captures the theme very well, and with a good dose of originality. Poor little guy looks SO unhappy! On a side note, I'm alternately happy / unhappy with the red No Solititors sign, which distracts me. If you had control over it, you might have removed it for this shot. Just a thought.

Nice, nice, nice! Soft, quiet, absolutely still. Not sure who's waiting -- the trees? for Spring? Ah... that's got to be it. Can't exactly say why, but the sky bothers me. Can't suggest what you could have done differently, however. Anyway, very good image. 7

Quiet Conversation

I suppose the title refers to a conversation with God? Whatever -- the picture is very good. GREAT lighting and the pews draw me into the alter in the center. Not convinced this image demonstrates "silence" but I'm also not holding that against it. Could be my own paradigm or whatever, because when I look at this picture I hear the church organ playing! anyway, nice job. I would have skewed the image to straighten out the posts.

Had a nice chuckle with your picture. LOVE the way you composed it with the two pictures on the wall, each with a small corner behind one of the two men. I wish the man on th left were better lit on his face (perhaps with something bounced?). If this was posed, nice job. If it's a candid, Way To Go!

Excellent! Good choice of sepia; great capture of tthe smoke. Too me a while to "get" the rubber chicken (a bit blown out). Subject's expression is good. I think you did a good job with lighing, too.

I guess you captured the theme, hard to say, but the picture is terrific. Soft, peaceful, even delicate. Border could have been a bit narrower -- the white part, anyway.

I have no idea what the title means, but I like the picture. Not sure if you've really captured the theme, so I can't give you a 8, 9, or 10, but the image is really fascinating and holds my attention.
