Thanks for the notes! I think I (mostly) follow what you're describing. I'm still really new to panoramic style shooting--and it never occurred to me how you could use it to force perspective like this. :-D

I thought I recognized this place! I haven't been to the Chicago Botantical Garden since...geez...my earliest hobby photo days back in 2004-05. But I remember going there after a fresh snow once and everything seeming so magically picturesque--and surreal in exactly the way your image depicts.

This one definitely had me in the holiday spirit. And it has a more "magical realist" vibe than so many urban Christmas shots.

This was one of my favorites in the challenge. The title is brilliant, and it's a wonderful representation of the blurring of lines (in this case literally) between digital photography and digital art.

The high-contrast B/W processing is striking on this. I appreciate your notes and was genuinely curious about the story behind the choices you made. Great title, too. I like big swings like this.

Gorgeous. I don't know if you intended this or not, but the placement of the crane reads to me like a bit of forced perspective--it almost looks like a bird perched on the rail of the bridge. Intentional or not, though, this composition has really nice balance and just a touch of modern "interruption" to offset the painterly "cliche" it might otherwise represent--which feels extremely true to your voice.

Another favorite. I love it when you play around like this, and that color palette is a pitch-perfect choice for the surreal perspective here.

Very nice. The composition is quite excellent--makes the negative space super interesting while balancing it with its residential context and offsetting with just the right pop of color.

My, what a pleasantly off-beat abstract this is! I love it.
