Last Experiment of the Day by lei_73Comment: Awesome work, and congrats! :-) I would love to have (adult) models as cooperative as this for my stock photography work. These sorts of fill-in-the-blank storytelling moments are golden for all kinds of repurposing. |

Small Paws, Big Loveby BarronessComment: One of my top three picks. The portraiture here--with or without the animal--is simply exquisite for my taste. But the way the subject isn't the PET itself but the pet's interaction with the subject...well, I think this might be the very best one in the challenge in that regard. I just love it. |

pet paradiseby tvsometimeComment: One of my challenge favorites. This is a perfect exemplar of what I would call the "artful cute" approach to pet photography. That fur baby looks about as adorably troublesome as my 3-year-old. :-P Congrats! |

Side by side by MartusComment: Congrats, man! What an incredible image for a first ribbon, too! |

Together they roam, searching by NeatComment: Your brand of lifestyle photography always exudes that rare combination of authentic personality and timeless sentimental charm. This would be one of the better of those I've seen recently from you in that regard, but I'm sure it will be far from the last. |

Mario's swim timeby toutoungiComment: That's an inspiring backstory. :-) I'm betting if there had been anything in the frame to convey human interaction with Mario this would have been a ribbon winner for sure. It's technically just so lovely, and adore the expression you've captured here. |

Mustard_IMG_4533c-DPCby GeneralEComment: I had to do a double-take on this one. It looks a lot like some of the overgrown pastures in southern Bastrop County here in central Texas. Only it would be ragwort blossoms and scrub mesquite trees.
Definitely some complementary layers going on in this image. |

4. Marchby PennyStreetComment: That's a subtly provocative perspective you've got there. An image that could register as melancholy or hopeful, depending on one's mood. |
