To Swim In Any Pond I Chooseby BarronessComment: I really love the way you achieved such vibrancy and clarity with your colors here yet still managed to keep it subdued enough to feel completely natural. taking notes. |

How It Endedby Art RoflmaoComment: Man, I love this. Talk about a shot begging to be paired with a motivational poster tagline. |

J I M O T H Yby Art RoflmaoComment: Wow. What an amazing capture. Has that grandparent's keen eye for inner beauty that is so hard for even the professional non-family-member photographer to draw out. Love the grainy processing, too. The decision to apply a blur filter (it appears?) to soften the border/frame is an interesting choice that is surprisingly effective for me. |

Balcony Breakby namComment: I like it. Definitely has the feel of a piece of marketing collateral for a white paper or something. |

Fall Bridgeby ErinKirstenComment: I thought this looked a lot like an Erin piece, but it had been a while since I'd seen you submitting so I wasn't sure. I always admire your portraiture, and this was pretty high in the pack for my vote. I'm curious whether I was unique in this, but my eye kept treating this a little like an optical illusion. Somehow the subject looks almost miniature in relation to the context. That must be a very interesting bridge to visit in person. |

Zigzagby LevTComment: Greece! Man, I was trying to peg where this might have been captured in voting. I have a photo I took--nothing nearly this compelling--when my wife and I took a trip out to far west Texas in 2020 that was from about this same angle and height overlooking the Big Bend area. I had to do a double take.
Love the composition. This was one of my top choices for the challenge. |
