Straight & Curved by kosmikkreeperComment: This is a very nice abstract photo that's better technically than most the other photos (abstract or otherwise). It lacks a slight amount of "wow"-factor though.

Stopby ShannonComment: This is the best presentation of a stop sign that I've seen so far. The angle, shadows, and color contrasts make the photo.

Find the Opportunity in the Challengeby EnzoComment: I\'d really like to know where you founf this sign - a novelty shop? Nice job with the photo, though; it makes you pause (ironically..). In terms of composition, I do find it weird that it's behind the fence.

| pizza place shoot-outby proger_alcantaraComment: I disagree; if you look at the score distribution, the really high scores and the really low scores are about even in number, and they cancel. The majority of voters gave this a medium score. I don't think this is a great shot technically, and that's why it got voted down. The whole "violence" factor does make one wonder what the purpose of the photo is... I personally still don't "get it"; and if there's nothing to get - if I'm just supposed to appreciate it for what it is, I can't, because it just doesn't look appealing to me technically.

natural and artificialby denisprayComment: This is very good abstract composition; you managed to capture the blues, reds, whites, and blacks in a very attractive way. It seems to suggest that you also paint or draw... I must admit, though, that it seems to look better from afar.

Sunset Silhouetteby iloveguamComment: This is a very good photo in terms of composition. It suggests a mix of slight meloncholy and slight awe. The subject's black silhouette and apparent adolescence, coupled with the sun at the horizon, evokes a strange sense of transition. If you hadn't titled your image with the word "sunset," it could possibly add more of a sense of mystery, as you can't really assume if it\'s a sunset or sunrise based on the image alone. Very good. I would like this even more if you made it more surreal-looking, maybe.
