Looks like the new lens works well. The hopper looks like a tightly wound spring, holding tightly to the grass so he doesn't just spring away.

Very pleasing to view. I like the inclusion of the birds and dead trees. I agree a slight rotation is worth a try. I also kind of think everything is just a little too centered. Maybe a a horizontal shot without the reflection? Or of just the reflection? I don't know; great sunset though.
