one yellow eyeby BadPiggComment: Nice technical shot, It just doesn\'t fire my rocket. It reminds me of something that should be in my opthomologists office. |

First Snowby BAMartinComment: A kind of snapshot type of picture to me. Maybe if you could have placed your subject (people) more in the foreground to separate them from the fence it would have a better effect. |

Earthbound Starsby mjcecilComment: I would like to see this in color and without the top left leaf. It leaves me kind of empty now. |

greenhousejumbleby undieyatchComment: Nice picture of your leaves, good focus, DOF and exposure. It doesn't particulary WOW me but it might look good, great big on an office wall . |

Keep the home fires burning...........by boyte1Comment: Even though the fire is inviting, I doesn\'t fire me up. No pun intended. I feel it needs something more in the picture to set the mood. Books, bear rug, a girl, etc. |

Stairway to Heavenby goodtempoComment: A nice symetrical shot. The spot of sky in the top left side kind of fouls it all up, and I wish there was something at the end of your tunnel. |

Under the Christmas Treeby YomiComment: Technically a nice picture, but it leaves me kind of empty on the interest side of things. Maybe this would have been a time to forget the thirds thing and go for the whole effect and center it in your frame. It is a kind of vertigo shot, so go for the gusto. |

The Unknownby arnitComment: Nice effect with the lighting, but the bright spots in her eyes are very distracting to me. |

Minor Sunrise in a Major Keyby inspzilComment: We all like a sunrise and yours is a good one. I don\'t think it is outstanding though, and this is a question we must ask ourselves when taking their picture. The sun is blown out, and iI realize you had to expose long enough to get the wonderful tree. Maybe some sort of filter might have helped. Good luck in the future. |

Melancholy Melodyby nards656Comment: Dead on focus and good DOF. With this type of subject, why do you have anything at all in the background? I scroll down and eliminate the background and then your picture pops. |
