"COLBALT"by Denise CataniaComment: Abstract it is, and "cobalt" it is also, however it doesn't hold my interest. Maybe a long sided crop would add to its interest. Correct spelling in a title is sooooo very important! 4 |

Depression Glassby macoxComment: You are pretty brave with the Deppresion Glass title with the young audience on DPC. I doubt that many know what you are referring to. I like your shot but I think more backlight would give it some needed life. 5 |

The Glowing Lightby PHOTOCHlXComment: You have attempted a very difficult shot. Low light on subject and intense light from the candle. This type of shot has to be taken with a very small f-stop and as long an exposere that you can use to keep the candle from being over exposed. As I said very difficult. 4 |

Frost Forrestby Indiana ivyComment: A real nice idea, I would have liked more definition and contrast. I also think your focus is qiute a bit off, too much for this type of shot. 5 |

strawberry wineby bgaras2001Comment: Dead on focus, exposure, color, and lighting. I just don't care for the composition. Your stemware is very elegant and I think a solitary glass would have been the ticket. I mean the whole thing from down low, WOW.! 8 |

Reunion Tower, Dallas Texasby goodtempoComment: This is a very nice shot but I keep trying to stand the building back up. That bothers me because I like to relax and enjoy pictures. How would I ever get the frame straight on the wall? 6 |

Viewing glass enclosed fashionby margemComment: The smallness of this pic hurts you quite a lot. If your camera limits you to this size then it is great. I will assume it's the camera and not you. I like the composition and choice of subject, but would I know if it were for a challenge in glass without your title? 5 |

Glassby AllenComment: Youre idea was good but the overpowering light hurt you quite a lot. You might try putting a sheet or something over the windowor light source to break up the light so you don't get so much damaging glare. 4 |

Blue Glass Ashtrayby tfarrell23Comment: Nice idea, and fairly well done. I don't like the blown out lighter. Could you have repositioned it so you could still get the nice reflection but not the glare? Maybe some back lighting would have given the tray more WOW and also helped with the lighter. 6 |
