I gave this a 7 in voting. I thought it was interesting with very nice flattering colors. The one distraction I had with this, is since it's such a tight macro you maybe should have pushed up on the swab tips to get rid of the "flyaway" cotton hairs. |

Excellent image! What can I add? It's a beautiful flower shot! The softness on the sides is great. The sharpness on the petals is great. The only thing I might want is maybe more sharpness on the center of the middle flower. Message edited by author 2006-07-11 21:21:50. |

I gave this a 5 in voting. Not that it's a bad image, just in comparison to what was in the challenge it's a little less than what it could have been. The focus seems a bit soft. I did enjoy your title as well, lol! |

Very interesting image. I like the bottles/vases, whatever they are. The shapes add a lot of interest. I like the lineup as well. Technically very well done as well. I don't see anything to be changed. |

This is a very nice image. The bokeh is great, the bee is nice and focused. He even has a catchlight in his little eye, LOL! The flower itself seems to be off just a little bit. I can't really figure out in which way. Maybe a little oversharpened? Overall, a solid image. |

I didn't really like the redness of the image. I tend to associate red with anger, not death. The focus seemed to be a bit off and I'm not really sure about the way the shadows fall. I do like the way you see more of the pieces the further up the board you go. |
