The Morning Commuteby timfythetooComment: Very pretty image. The colors are beautiful (maybe a tad oversaturated, but just barely) the geese are all going in the same direction (which is actually hard to find in water). Nice capture, nice score! |

Calvaryby timfythetooComment: Hey Tim,
I don't care much for woody shots, so I didn't enter or vote this challenge. I do have to say this was very nicely done. Sorry about your low votes, but there are some very narrow minded people here. |

Portrait of an 1880's Farmerby timfythetooComment: This is a great shot! I gave it a 9 in voting. This is actually the type of shot I believed we were supposed to be doing. All the people who just had something in front of their faces IMHO were taking the easy way out. You are showing WHO he is without his face. Again, great job! |

Ready for his closeupby MelethiaComment: This is cute. I really dislike woody shots in general. So, for me to like it is good. LOL. The shadows and light play are great! |

Shower viewby MelethiaComment: Ya know, I don't think it's always us that suck (for sure not you) but the voters. I know my top ten picks seldom ever make it to the actual top 10. This is a very interesting shot. I love the tones of brown. With the title and the water, it could be a stomach silloutte. And it almost looks like a bellybutton in there. LOL. I haven't been voting the past few challenges, but I would have given this a 7 or 8.
p.s. Yes, I read the photographer comments! |

Zoo Vet - The caring man behind the scenesby KelliComment: Originally posted by maryba: Poignant is what comes to mind when I look at this photograph. At least someone at the Philadelphia zoo cared enough about the elephants to find them new homes. |
Though they have always seemed happy to me. I wish them well, but will really miss them. |

Hairballby timfythetooComment: Ahh, so you had one of the dreaded cat shots that people were b*tching about. Very nicely done. I didn't vote in this challenge either because I never can seem to get what makes high contrast. So disregarding that factor, it's a lovely shot with beautiful lighting. What is hanging out of his/her mouth though? |

Apple & Spiderby timfythetooComment: Nice shot! Though I like spiders, I still wouldn't touch one! Focus is spot on (as you noted) and the spider is cute. Your score is quite decent given all the bug & blank haters on the site. I didn't vote in this one but would have given it at least an 8. |

Into the Lightby timfythetooComment: I knew this was yours when I saw it. I wish I had been as smart to pull my Brothers picture for the October FS, but, I wasn't. You definitely pulled it off much better this time! |

Sometimes One Just Isn't Enoughby nards656Comment: hmmm, you actually found time to enter a challenge? I like the way the red reflects on the ice cubes. It gives it a very surreal type feel to it. |
