I was surfing through some of my favorite sites and I stopped at this picture. That little bird looking out at those large buildings. Sometimes that’s how we all feel, I guess, small with everything around us bigger and more complex. It can get overwhelming, overpowering like a tidal wave ready to sweep us up.

It reminds me of past times. Of a flight taking off just in time before devastation hits. As if a volcano has just erupted and the end of an island is at hand. Very dramatic. In a sense heroic.
