Is this a hitchhiker with a car blazing by? If so, slow down that shutter speed a little. Its nice to see the trail, but not so bad that we can't make it out. I'm really confused at what this picture could be if its not what I said.

you are a bit too far from your subject. You've got to much distraction in the photo such as the two cones and all the empty space in front of the cars. You should get in tight and give me a feeling that these are real cars. You might want to consider making 2 lines of cars so that you can get in tigher. I also like how you left space in front of the first car to give the viewer a feeling that this car will be going somewhere.

Interesting idea, but it might have been better to get less of the interior of the car.

Yup. Look at them. Alll the way down there. And where are you? Above them. Try getting a little closer to your subject. At least get someone to drive down that road so you can take picutre of them.

Excellent. I love pictures of critters and this sure is a great critter. My only complaint, and I'm not even marking you down for it, is that the foreground is almost distractingly out of focus. But that's ok cause I really like the picutre. :)

Your model is not very attractive, and even if its done purposefully will make people want to give you a lower score. Now just putting that aside it looks like you shot this with a small f-stop (f11or the likes) and you just put everything in focus. Your subject though is the highhiker so it probably would have been better if the cars passing by where out of focus. Also, you don't want your subject to be smack dab in the middle. You should have had him turn his body 45 degrees so that he's partially facing the road on the right and then you should have framed him more to the left.

Great title. Great choice for the book as well. I wonder how it would look if you just cropped off the bottom and some of the right, and maybe have the reader hold the book a little higher, about 75% the distance to their head now. Then all you need is a little front light to fill in some of those dark spots and you've got a great picture. :) Overall very clever.

I like it. I think this is a great composition, how you have your line coming down at an angle, and you have the car towards the bottom with the extra space at the top. I think normally I'd want more space in front of the vehicle to tell me where you are going, but somehow it just works out alright in this picture. Maybe I'm just happy to see where it came from.

When taking pictures, always keep in mind what your subject is and then fill the frame with it. For this image you should have moved to the right (to remove the beetle) and closer (to fill the frame) to the subject.
