Meant to say it earlier. This is a wonderful portrait. I love the bokeh and circles in the background. Excellent expression on his face. Wonderful tones too. I love this style of portrait! Unfortunately I'm too shy to approach people and ask them if I can take their photo and my father hates getting photographed. I'm doomed! :-)

I don't know if I'd say the eyes were way overwhitened. It's a high-key image. So you'd expect them to be whiter...
Nice image anyway. I like the processing. Very nice high-key work. Black and white suits this very well.
