I like how everything seems to be curving into the darkness in the bushes (?) on the right without any option. Like the inevitability of age, ageing and death. 9

Decay of 1927by geinafetsComment: I like this a lot. I do think the face of the watch is a bit over-bright and we lose some details on the blacks. Also I migth have suggested a narrower DOF to keep the entire hand in focus (were I awake). But what an evocative photo! |

Big Bonby bohemkaComment: I gave this an 8 back in the day. It was my first challenge voting. I also gave its counterpart an 8 :-)
I think the sharpness is a big score grabber. The other one also looks slightly less distorted on the two legs than yours. The harsher contrast also boasts more details in that one. But mainly it's the challenge. |
