Another shot that got hammered by the "bird headshot lovers". I had this pegged for top-10, maybe even top-5. Probably one of the best composed images of the challenge. Ignore the comments about tighter crops. It's perfect just the way it is. I can't believe the number of 5's (83!!!) that this image received. Keep up the excellent work.

OMG! You were SO robbed. This should have finished in the high 5's, low 6's AT LEAST. The artistic value of this image alone blows away half of the top 50 shots. Don't get discouraged by this outcome. People are just too easily swayed by standard bird headshots.

The pole just doesn't feel right. My eye is telling me it shouldn't normally be that dark. I also seem to see some sort of halo around it. Weird.
