Twilight in the Gardenby Bear_MusicComment: A fascinating subject - another of the leaves you've been contemplating of late? Beautiful rich tones and sweeping lines. |

Remembrance Dayby flahermaComment: This was really underrated from my perspective. You've created an effective overall composition that brings the eye right to where it should be. And the processing is well matched to the subject - channels the itchy wool they must be wearing... Nice work! |

Haunting Woodby Alex_PetriniComment: This is one of my top picks of this challenge... really expected to see it on the front page. Beautiful. |

Siennaby NeatComment: Lots of good stuff going on here. Eyes, smile, toning... really effective take on low contrast. |

Birch bark and groundcherriesby snafflesComment: An engaging still life subject, Susan. I like the hints of red/pink in the birch against the subtle yellows of the groundcherries. It would be interesting to see a version with the bottom of the frame extended enough to avoid cutting off the tip of the groundcherry - and with enough room to create a square crop. Lovely work! |

fall offeringsby mefnjComment: Very nice, Mark. Captures the essence of fall without the color - and the narrow tonal range works well. |

Solitudeby riotComment: Nice work, Eugene. I like the way you've combined harsh geometric angles with the bird and the narrow tonal range. |

Beauty in white by hajekaComment: Yep. Definitely expected to see this on the front page. Proof again that flowers and B&W processing can work really well. Congrats on the ribbon. |
