actually the orange and lemon were pretty worse for wear to start with! :)

the post processing was more to increase the contrast to bring out the textures than degrade the fruit.

It met the challenge criteria (as far as I can see) and I think it did so with both imagination and style.

Don't be disheartened! It would be a pity to stop doing this kind of stuff because of a bad score here.

Well... thats my 2c anyway, whatever that is worth - about 2c I suppose :)

I found the slightly out of focus bits disconcerting but think the composition is great. For me a sharper image here would have made this a really great image rather than just a pleasing one. Heaps of potential
