I didn't like this picture when I first saw it. But when I went back to it and studied it some more it kinda grew on me. The processing which I found to be overwhelming at first now seems to make sense, emphasizing the hypnotic eyes of the model. Good job, I'm changing my 5 to a 7

That's a beautiful capture but it doesn;t seem that the selective desaturation was carried out well. The kids look really pale. The way to do that is to create 2 layers, desaturate the top later then erase the parts you want in colour from the top layer so that the colour of the kids in the background layer show up. Voila you've got a selectively desaturated image.

Was that gate originally that blue colour or did you add the blue colour? That's a great location but I don;t think that selective desaturation works here.

Probably not the best choice for this challenge. A white bird on a bright background kinda disappears, losing impact.

Did you paint the car blue instead of desaturating only the surroundings? The way to do that is to create 2 layers, desaturate the top later then erase the car from the top layer so that the colour of the car in the background layer shows up. Voila you've got a selectively desaturated image.
