Indeed. And without a vertical lake would have been better too I suppose, since it kind of gives a clue. |

December Kissesby Samantha_TComment: Let me guess: I bet you were a bit cold there... You really should consider wearing a coat! ;-)
Congrats again Samantha, I love your use of DoF, which supports your creative ideas so well. |

Grats as always on the blue! |
Thanks a lot Susan. No name change for now, I think I'm done with wrapping things for a while ;-) |

Yup. I always do as much as I can in reality, it is much easier than doing it afterwards in post-processing. |

Blustery Winter by giantmikeComment: Congratulations Mike on your ribbon, I really loved your entry and am happy to see it finish well. The pastel colors along with the subtle mist work fantastically well, I can feel winter just by looking at it. |

December dawn by Alex_PetriniComment: I must say it is a pleasure to share the front page with you Alessandro :-) Congratulations on your ribbon. I like your analysis of northern landscapes and clever work on composition and colors to give this great sight additional appeal. Very well done! |

My parents are always very entertained by my "strange ideas", as they call them. The wrapped furniture was no exception: they even kept them wrapped a few days for fun. While they know I enter my images in online challenges, they don't know about DPC, and were very curious about the result: I will call them tomorrow - my father is going to be very proud of winning his first ribbon :) |

Artifactsby Samantha_TComment: Samantha, it is impressive how fast you can create your images, especially given the fact this one is so different from the previous one! Definitely not eye candy. Mud, dead vegetation, strange sky, strange corpses, no hope. Fits the challenge perfectly. Well done. |

12/21/12 — the Final Ebbby Bear_MusicComment: What an impressive sky, fits the challenge so well. I bet it was even more incredible in reality. Congratulations on the HM. |
