Morris Dancerby burtctComment: Interesting capture. I think it would have been helpful if the person with the blue shirt was cropped out, and if the grass wasn't so neon green (it hurts the eyes!) |

Edge of the Worldby KarenNfldComment: Very nice composition and details. I bet you wish this was an advanced editing challenge, as this would be a perfect scene to use HDR techniques. |

Harshby MaryOComment: Great combination of light and scene. Very cool framing, and the high key black and white was a good choice. |

Midday fallby tlong940Comment: I really like the idea behind this, especially with the pond in there. Unfortunately, I'm getting the feeling that this photo is suffering from lack of identity. It feels like you should either bring out details in the shadows, or turn down the shadows to give it a more silhouette feel. |

Woodland Trailby dhumann1Comment: Definitely a very difficult scene to make look nice in this type of light. You have a good use of S-curves with the path, and a nice amount of colors. I wonder if you could have brought out a bit more detail in the shadows to mellow out the bright/dark spots a bit more. |

Old timeby JohannesFrankComment: Nice scene, and one of the few times where I like the letterbox style border. |

Firetowerby mdiddyvComment: This is a good use of the mid day sun. The rays of light really add to the intensity. I wonder if you could have brought up the contrast a bit on this to give this a bit less of the washed out look. |

Catch the sunby NMNelmsComment: Definitely a nice thought for the challenge. Something that's interesting to me is that my eyes are drawn first to the bright green in the lower half. Then I notice this is out of focus, so my eyes search to find the appropriate focus spot. For this reason, I'm feeling that the composition of this photo isn't quite as strong as it could be. |
