Stardust Melodyby BlackboxComment: Beautiful colors in the sky. I'm not sure if this is the shape of the clouds, but I'm detecting a lot of noise in the sky, which is bringing the quality of the image down a bit.
Obvious tripod use: Medium. I bet that's a shock! Why do I say medium? It's because of the amount of light in the sky, and the very few stars in the sky. This looks like it could be a fast enough exposure using high iso (remember the noise that I was detecting) to be handheld. I'm sure it's done with a tripod, but I wanted to give you my gut feel. |

Warmupsby GeneralEComment: Interesting shot. Seems like it could be telling us a story, but what? Looks like one participant has some karate robes on, so is it some sort of class?
Obvious tripod use: The tripod in the shot itself is very obvious. So on that front it meets perfectly. For the camera taking the overall photo, that could have definitely been done without a tripod. At first, I didn't really see the tripod in the shot, so you may get some people wondering how this fits the challenge. |

Tiny Yellowby mrbig65Comment: An interesting pop of color in the scene. I'm not too keen on the halo effect surrounding branches.
Obvious tripod use: To me, it's low. This shot, while it looks like it may be done later in the day, feels well enough lit to be doable handheld. |

Tiny Rainbow Dropletby IreneMComment: What amazing timing for this shot. So different than your standard droplet shot.
Obvious tripod use: Very high. |

Sleeplessby Mwilton111Comment: Wonderful perspective and details. I'm sure it was tough to get the light trails while not blowing out highlights in the building.s

Rushes at Nightby sjhulsComment: Nice use of black and white to add to the mood. Is that fog moving through the brush? It looks spooky.
Obvious tripod use: Very high. |

Ghosts of a brilliant past...by cyparisComment: Normally I don't like ghosted people shots. But the colors/subject of this image lend themselves well to the technique. Nicely done.
Obvious tripod use: Very high. |

Ghost trainby hajekaComment: Kind of a cool effect. I'm a bit confused by the red/green lights. Seems like the track this train is on has the green! But that may just be an optical illusion.
Obvious tripod use: High. |
