People complian about 'noise'. I rarely see it. My monitor is new and calibrated...and 'yes', I know that's not where 'noise' comes from. The 'noise' are thin clouds and movement. Yes, I could have 'smoothed' it out in photoshop. But, that's not photography to me. Nor the look I was going for. And...I like the thin white line: that's why I added it...duh

Lovely dark colors and mood

Great stratified colors. RGB. Well done getting those stars to pop so crisply. Personally I would have taken a bit of blur brush to the green and blue (and a bit of the red) to reduce the noise. It would have preserved the sharp stars while smoothing the entire image. But of course I also rarely know what I'm talking about. Great stuff.

The fine lines in the border are terribly distracting.

What a variety of colors! It shows some apparent noise. I wouldn't use that border... it distracts and takes the drama away, imo.

Beautiful colors in the sky. I'm not sure if this is the shape of the clouds, but I'm detecting a lot of noise in the sky, which is bringing the quality of the image down a bit.

Obvious tripod use: Medium. I bet that's a shock! Why do I say medium? It's because of the amount of light in the sky, and the very few stars in the sky. This looks like it could be a fast enough exposure using high iso (remember the noise that I was detecting) to be handheld. I'm sure it's done with a tripod, but I wanted to give you my gut feel.

Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 10
The silhouette of the mountain is sharp and there's small signs of star trails. The noise is a bit too much though and ruins a shot that could look very pretty if it were more clean.

Perfect title. The colors are surprising. You don't usually see green. I like it a lot.
