Playground of the Gullsby glad2badadComment: I like the three splits of color. Gives distinct borders to the image that are then blurred (no pun intended) by the seagulls.

Werewolf Moonby littlemavComment: Very eery coloring in the sky. Gives a real sense of wonder and anxiousness.
Obvious tripod use: High. I was about to put medium high, but then I was thinking back to some recent photos I attempted similar to this, and I know that to get this much silhouette you need a pretty long shutter. |

The Steel Cityby stantheman1313Comment: Gorgeous tones in this image. I especially like how the bursts of red really stick out and how the bridge leads us into the view.
Obvious tripod use: High. I wonder if you will get any comments from people thinking a tripod isn't needed, if if they say that, then they likely didn't see the light streaks from cars. |

Hey Diddle Diddleby fd3rdComment: It's aways nice when there is color in the moon. Adds a little extra flare.
Obvious tripod use: Medium. I'm sure you used a tripod for this, but I also know that it's totally possible to shoot this without a a tripod. With a full moon at f/5.6 your shutter speed could be as high as 1/200 (I'm even thinking low iso) which is definitely hand holdable. |

Barker Reservoirby leonedavisComment: Huh, that's interesting how the one side is straight down with this side less of a slope. Is is always like this, or is there a mechanism to raise parts of the damn?

Subalpine Cascadesby hahn23Comment: Very cool scene, especially with the dead logs that are seemingly making their way down the river. One thing that I notice probably because I'm extra sensitive to it is possible chromatic aberration in the tops of the trees (against the sky).

Fast Getawayby PennyStreetComment: Very much a bug's eye view here. I do wish the foreground plant was more in focus.

Manfrotto's Delightby david_cComment: Wonderfully captured! It's always great to see fireworks with other object for a sense of scale. I Believe this is the first time I have seen a waterfall as that object.
Obvious tripod use: Very high. |

Lakesideby BastaComment: I feel like there could somehow be more to this image. It's a nice visual, but I cannot figure out what it's trying to say to me. Maybe a tighter crop on the building to have less empty sky/water would be helpful.
Obvious tripod use: High. I was thinking of medium/high, but with the very low noise you likely had to use a low ISO. |
