On the Edge of the Earth's Shadowby hahn23Comment: Really well done natural shot. fwiw I gave this a 7, I really like the expert editing photos but can still show some love to really well controlled natural shots. |

Vollmond by damoninjaComment: Glad to see this ribbon. I love how the sky looks like brush strokes, it is details like that that draw me in. Well done. |

yellowstone1by vawendyComment: Gotta agree the lighting is backwards, I want to see the subject well lit. Of course out in nature that is easier said then done. I am also confused on what the subject is, I want to look at the Bison but it seems a bit out of focus and the birds are sharp but they are so small. I would try and kill some of those blown highlights. Hmm... funny me giving you a critique lol. |

tis the seasonby bmartuchComment: I see I gave this a 4. Pretty sure it was the border that dropped it below my average otherwise it would probably have been a 5 or 6. I'm just not a fan of these types of shots. Sorry not much of a critique. |

Jeanetteby kawesttexComment: Not bad. The light is a bit hard and it is causing some deep shadows at her eyes. I like the framing and comp though. The pose is ok but I have never personally been a fan of women squatting for a shot, I don't find it nearly as flattering as I would prefer. I would either bring in some more light to help with the shadows either by off camera lighting or reflector or mover her to some open shade. |

Leaving tracksby snafflesComment: Didn't vote but this would have been one of my higher votes simply because it isn't just some train tracks. I think the light is nice and the trees framing the subject work well as well as the tracks being a nice leading line. Cons... Why is a girl jumping on the tracks? Perhaps another element would help but it's not bad for the challenge. Surprised it finished low. |
