The big problems for me in this shot are the following: It is too busy with too many colors/patterns from the bags to the blouse, It is very noisy maybe it was too dark or your iso was set on the high end and there is a lot going on in the background. I would suggest to simplify eberything, bounce a flash and make sure the iso is set lower and open up the aperature so you can blur the background.

I almost missed this one. I love this shot, not only does it convey coldness from the snow but even more so from the darkness and emptiness. The lighting is great and comp is spot on. Well done. 10

I think the big problems with this is that it is too small, you should take advantage of the 800 pixels allowed, especially with the width. And, for me at least, the border is just too big. I do like the different perspective though.
