No selective blur was added, it was the super-shallow depth of field (f/1.2) that created the out of focus area :)

Like this pic a lot, I just wish those flowers didn't stick out behind you like that in all kinds of directions. I would think it might cost you some points because of it. I would have kept those flowers a little farther back so that they would fade some more due to the shallow DOF or just kept them all on one side of you (still farther back). They unfortunately distract the viewers because of where they are. Love your makeup and all the hard work you have put into it. You look beautiful!
