Given to Flyby beatabgComment: Well.
It's ok I suppose. But in the end, I mostly see a grayish dead palm tree and a strange tank in the corner. Not sure what you're trying to say to me here. |

The Vultureby vawendyComment: You're going to suffer here I suspect - but this image has serious merit. If you have the raw, and did a shadow/highlight recovery, this has everything to become magically awesome! |

Waiting for high tideby ChandiComment: A little low contrast, but I like the exposure on the lights in the background and the overall effect of this image... Totally island feel! |

La Llorona by CoryComment: Originally posted by posthumous: Just to be clear, I have no problem with your process, nor do I have any reason to question your originality (amount of effort is just completely beside the point)...
but the process of putting a physical "filter" in front of a computer monitor seems like a complete subversion of the Advanced Editing Ruleset... by the site's #1 Narc. |
Well I totally appreciate what you're saying Don. But to my thought process, the critical point comes with the total manipulation of the image and the fact that I'm focused on the filter, not the monitor. If I were focusing on the monitor, instead of the 'filter', then I would absolutely agree that it was a complete subversion of the ruleset.
*shrug*
In any case, we'll see what the SC has to say about it, and what the hell, walking these edges is how we find out where the cliff starts. I'll walk.
Besides, you can't charge me with being unfair - I've revealed my techniques, and even self-reported to the SC for validation because you were concerned. I'm no hypocrite Don, but your statement might easily be read that way. Message edited by author 2013-09-04 13:30:50. |
