Oh, what a beautiful image, the subject and composition are really superb. Now, let me explain why this is getting a 5 instead of an 8 from me (I hope you will understand) - The image appears oversharpenend- primarily the white and black parallel lines inside the flower, there is a blocky/noisy look to them that is just a shame, and the lower petal where it meets the water has the same blocky look. Also, the frame is way too heavy, I like the yellow and black, but much lighter weight would have added elegance, this however really just doesn't do anything for the photograph..

Still, very nice image overall, different PP would have made a big difference.

Very sad kid... Seems odd, but this doesn't really impact me like I think it would, not sure why, but just didn't really impact me. Still a solid 6 from me.

Eyecandy alert! :) Neat looking image, although it does have that "topazed" look to the fur and grass- Not that I dislike the effect, just looks processed a bit heavy for me (I think this might largely be due to the somewhat obvious noise suppression on the rear leg, making it look way too smooth.).

Still like this image very much.
