I think the crop here is a poor choice that really hurt a strong image.

Effectively it's cropped him at the knees, which is a bad thing, mid thigh would have been much stronger and more compelling I think.

In any case, this is pretty cool, it just feels a bit oddly cropped and rotated.

Nah, just kidding, this is actually wonderful, you managed to NAIL the DOF on this one, and it really just makes the shot - I hope whoever this kid's parents are got a shot of this, as it's just great!
