Interesting, I like the crop as is. The statues play an interesting role with the person standing with her back to us. As if they were waiting for her to make the next move. If anything, I might try to clone the person walking down the stairs. I like this photograph for capturing that moment that makes sense.

Harvey, you have an amazing talent for bird photography. I know how tough it is even though I have have not made a serious attempt at it yet. You have portrayed this bird very well with capturing his profile and plummage. I would say just to refine the image a little, maybe could use a little noise reduction in the green leafy area's. You've done a great job of showing him in his native environment.

Love the natural light creating the high contrast. It is tough to self portrait with a MF lens but I think you did a great job. Maybe you see softness in a larger version of this, but at 800px it seems fine to me. Subtle posture, but effective.

Amazing how much this looks like a water splash! I'm no lighting expert, I prefer natural lighting most the time. This looks pretty good to me, not sure I can give any worthy advice.
