Peeling a bananaby HarlequinComment: Wow - the textures in this are creamy, colourful and delectable. I have eaten many of this fruit in my lifetime but never really paused to look at it in quite the way it is presented here. I see much more now due to this presentation, even in the peel. Well Done. |

Frosted Spiders Trailby KivetComment: The frost patterns highlight this tiny delicate noose. How apropros that the cold spider uses it to catch his dinner. How creative and unique that you had the vision to capture it so that others may see as well. |

Urchinby TerComment: Predominant and repeating circles echoing individual shells large and small make up this also circular sea creature skeleton. The brown tones are warm and engaging but the fractal like patterns draw you in. At the top, in the centre is the black unknown maw. |

Brush Strokesby andreisComment: The 4 contrasting colours are greatly enhanced by the rough wall textures which highlight the paint strokes. This is simple and abstract, and also quite pleasant to view. |

Shroom Detailby franktheyankComment: The repeating folds of this simple mushroom almost resemble an earthen landscape in this superb macro replete with curves and enveloped with complementing warm brownish and grey colour tones. This flows beautifully. |

Off of the wall by AbeebephotographyComment: While it took me a moment to realise what this was, I very much like the textures in it. It is rusted but the colours are warm and it is such an intricate study of a commonplace thing which bears looking at in a new way. Thank you for your expertise in providing that view. |

Assuming the Poseby ShutterPugComment: This critter knows how beautiful he is - the colours and contrasts are superb and the shot is so crisp you can almost see all the individual cells which make up his froggy skin. The silver he is sitting on is a nice touch as it both illuminates him and adds to the richness of the portrait. |

Comfortably Wornby glad2badadComment: Very pleasant and warm coordinating brown colours with the sharp textures of the stitching, cream sole and upper shoe materials. The Tree of Life trademark makes this very harmonious. |

Rusty Nailby boone168Comment: The crisscross pattern enhanced by the rust on the old nail becomes the point of interest as it contrasts so well to the pitted groove diagonals of the equally old wood - even though their colours are closely matched. Textures are warm and visually superb in this shot. |

Underwater Currantby T-noComment: The tiny bubble patterns on the red currants enhance this shot and provide circular microcosms of their own. Very nice. |
