Awesome shot Philip, especially when you don't know what the weather will be like when you get there. Sunny at home and wet 1 hour later! I like the sky, it envelopes the scene as if everything is emanating from the city. Hope you had a great Xmas and New Year.

How can one use a selective quote from Gandhi to mock how this image was created? If you take the time to read Gandhi's well documented writings and speeches, you will see his hatred for black South Africans, calling them K*ffirs, a derogatory term here in South Africa as is N*gger in the USA and is justifiably banned. His support for the (Asian) Indian Caste system, which is still in force in India today, has been compared to Apartheid. How anyone in their right mind can take one selective quote from a so called untouchable "great" as Gandhi without delving deeper into the man and his real beliefs is wearing rose tinted glasses.

Lydia could have unceremoniously dumped the little mouse in the trash can, yet she chose to immortalise "her" and share the image with us. No worse than walking past your Aunt Gertrude's open casket at the funeral parlor and taking one last snap, mental or celluloid erm CMOS.

Ignorance is bliss.
