Once Upon A,,,,,,,"Typewriter"by mrbig65Comment: Beautiful shot and brave entry. Sure it's a timeless antique piece and I have been very open minded to this challenges entries but this one just doesn't give me a solid connection other than it's an antique. |

Time to goby StanleyDComment: Good idea but execution seems hasty. Focus is just not crisp enough for a studio shot (for me). Composition is peculiar, it feels odd to me. I understand the empty house concept and last set of bags. Just the sugar/ashes urn and clock on the suitcase are odd as well. |

the passage ofby posthumousComment: I've never liked this style of image. It appears a lot on DPC in various guises and maybe shoehorns. There are really only a few togs who do it here :)
It's a brave style as DPC is all about crisp, over-saturated, sharp wine glasses on a mirror or water drops with gelled speedlights (exaggeration but I'm making a point) and images that, as in this case, are deemed to be without a doubt supposed to be unequivocally a "time" piece, i.e. a watch or wall clock...
In THIS instance your "imagery" has touched a nerve with me. Not only have you used a slow s/s but the camera shake has also rotated/zoomed the final shot. The dogs on a leash looking into the black worm hole in the shrubbery. It all blends to make a dreamlike remembrance of a moment, passage, of time.
It's commendable, and whilst I am guessing you're getting hammered by the lemming "it's not a watch" voters, this is the highest mark I've given to this style of work ever. WD and bravo. |

Frozen in 1970's Winterby LevoyComment: But it's not a picture of a clock! Can't possibly be time related!
LOL. WD in capturing a moment in time :) |

Time = D / Vby amnonComment: Brave for a simple challenge topic that implies a picture of a watch is what should be photographed. Good one! |

Decay of 1927by geinafetsComment: Relevant in current times. Where'd you get the old hands: both of them! Well executed yet pocket watch face a bit OE. |
