The Hurlerby CitadelComment: Yay a Star Burst flare! Nice positioning in the hand. Is that a statue? Also a teeny aperture flare for a belly button. |

Heaven's Touchby tangueraComment: Beautiful. Soft and lit up petal. No visible star burst nor typical 5-6-7-8-9 sided aperture flare but the lines of a star burst flare are perfectly used as leading lines. Well done. I wonder what the vehement "Star Burst" is not "Flare" crowd will do with this image... |

Radiant Beautyby Alex_EuropaComment: Special shot and good use of reflector it appears. Typical star burst flare albeit subtle and not excessive. |

In the Meadowby kleskiComment: Lovely typical 70's style use of the field and flare. Subtle single yellow flare, effective and I especially like the backlit bushels. |

The End Of A Good Dayby CuttoothComment: Classic image using the flare creatively. Nice round flare too. Possibly a 9 bladed aperture, but looks like a HQ lens. |

Flare for Flowersby RianBotesComment: Lovely work and classic lens flare (in this case not the star burst but the aperture blade flare) however the star burst lines at top radiating down are also visible. Anyone who DNMC's or low votes star burst is making an uneducated mistake.
What this also clearly shows is the rough serrated edges of the aperture blades...the more there are of them (this lens has 6 blades) and the smoother and higher quality they are the better your IQ will be, and less CA. |

Pathwayby NiallOTuamaComment: Super image. The traditional (6 sided) aperture flares add to the effect and DMC. Front page contender because of both the flare and the image on it's own merit. |
