Silly technology spoils this "little gem" in architecture that you have found in the city. I guess it's better than thousands of wires everywhere, if those are slowly disappearing and these are replacing them then that's a step in the right direction. Next, get the installers to put them less in obtrusive places.

Nice composition triangle on boy, banner and baubles and colourful but not over processed.
I'd have cropped out the fly screen and only kept the engaging door.

I like the selective desat here. It is both sharp and complimentary to the grey in the BG. It is almost a 160mm f/2.8 on the D90 so for candids it gives you some unobtrusive reach to :)

I battle to do that, leave lenses at home. I generally break my back with 10 lbs (5 kgs) of glass in a LowePro.
I don't have this little gem of a lens and I am oh so keen to get a copy as my Sigma 180mm f/3.5 macro is a bicep buster.

Sorry, that's just very sad. No further comment.

I think what he means is EXIF data. He is also being complimentary. I would have asked the same.
I love the image. There are a few on DPC who do it well and this is one of those. Smooth edible goodness.

WD on your HM. Happy and story telling street shot. That's a massive lens for landscapes but worked well here too! I must give it a bash on my new D7000.

Very sharp and fabulous white balance under artificial light. Circles of confusion perfect. Iconic shot. Super!
