I find lens in face portraiture very difficult to do. Especially if you know the person as you do here. I'd rather Paparazzi style from 100 meters with a 500mm on 1.5 crop factor DX :) I believe you've captured an essence which no doubt means more to you than to I. A smile. A slight knowing smirk? Why are the fingernails being hidden? A little self consciousness?

You are finding gems probably not documented in your local guides. Make one with GPS co-ords and sell it to architecture spotters (like train spotters) :) at the local tourist traps and Info booths!

I'm always drawn to intricate architecture, and this is so way out different from the main building design. Weird. Fun. Well spotted and taken.
