Under appreciated imho. Gave it a 7. An open eye with catch-light would have scored higher at DPC, even though the flamingo is obviously tucked in for a snooze! Reality in wildlife (or nature as this may be) is of little concern to non wildlife centric DPC voters. Be careful also with overcompressing the JPG, there are jaggies/artifacts developing in the fine feather details.

Great image. Rewarded with a 7. Under-appreciated imho. Take a 2nd image at 30 seconds and blend (the water area) later to get the smooth effect you want and also running clouds.
I have hit many 4th's and 5ths (Honourable Mentions) in Free Studies due low ballers. Very annoying.
