Good composition to have the ice and the hot water column on the same photo, and the ice leads my eyes to the steaming water. Personally I think it would be even more better without the orange stuff in the ice.

A touching photo of a human fate, BW was a good choice. The dog watching is a nice element. I would also try this photo moving a bit to the right, and choosing a lower angle, which would show the artist more from the front and the dog from the profile.

The expressions on the faces are loveable!!! Indeeed a great idea and composition, the colours are a good choice, the red for the mum works well with the reds of the chocolate boxes. I mention 2 issues which should be changed to make this one a top shot. The smaller one is that table cloth is overexposed, but the background's wraps are more ditracting. You did set up an amazing shot, please, take care about ironing the background as well. I was hesitating between 5 and 6, but finally I decided 6.
