Personally I think this would have been an amazing entry. I voted your entry really high because it reminded me of a specific picture, but this is not only perfect for the challenge but an amazing shot in its own right.

I cannot understand how this did so well. I only gave it a 9. Ha! I just looked down in the messages because I thought I had commented on it, and I had, and all I had to say was "Awesome." Well, it is. I'm normally more verbose, like now, but that's all I had at the time. Congrats on your blue ribbon. It's a great shot in a million different ways, but truly perfect for this challenge. All the best.

Beautiful capture. There are many Ss here, real and implied, and I hope you don't get the shoehorn label from anyone. Great photo.

I think this is my favorite. Couldn't be better for the challenge, but regardless, it's such a real event, and there's emotion. I maybe would have cropped it lower and higher to really focus on the elation of the group vs. the girl all alone, but that's me. (I guess there would have been a funny crop on a background face there.) Nice one. 10

Question though: Can you make out what's on the girl's arm?

Congratulations on your blue. I'd say you got your money's worth out of that match, eh? Two top-20s. Great photo(s).

Wow, the likelness is unbelievable. I agree most would have missed the connection, so probably good that you pulled, if for no other reason than to preserve your sanity as you watched a spitting image go down in flames. Didn't even catch that it was Seattle. It got an 8 from me. Nice one.

Great shot. Really sorry to hear about your camera. Hope that gets sorted soon and there's nothing to grieve over.
