I came back to this again and again. It's amazing. I didn't know how to explain what it meant because hell, it could be your dad, or you, or your wife's new dude. Still might be, I don't know. But I've figured it out and have ruled out the evangelist, etc., and have one name for you: Raleigh Theodore Sakers. Look him up. He could very well be dead by now, but here he is, in all his glory, in your photo.

Great find. What I appreciate the most in this photo is it's not just the web or, more specifically, it's not just the dew on the web that's supposed to be the star of the image. It's just a filter, an interesting semitransparent foreground element through which to take in the rest of the moody autumn scene. Excellent photo.
