Dark Tunnelby CMacDComment: Very nice image. The crop is a bit awkward for presentation here on DPC but I end up having to do this all the time so I can relate. Love the idea, and the fact that there are faint traces of color to the edge of the frame. |

Oh! What a tangled web we weaveby AbraComment: Beautiful image. Wonderful exposure, well spotted, some nice bokeh. Has a nice circular flow to it, and as the eye moves around and out it picks up more detail and glints of light. Great. |

Where does the white go when the snow melts?by PennyStreetComment: Very nice street scene. Your composition is just excellent, at least for me. Your perpendicular lines are squared off, the traffic light comes to a satisfying close within the frame, the girl on the left isn't cut off, the leading lines of the grid take your eyes into the light and the action. And it wouldn't be the holidays in NYC without Macy's. Tones are excellent. The whole thing is extremely well balanced. This isn't lucky street photography. This is something special. Well done. |

Across the Bayby bcenuComment: I really like the works set back like that, and love the horizon city line. But honestly that border is hurting the image. I think you want to draw attention to the fireworks and the horizon line, but the white border lines outshine the horizon line. I want to feel the mystery in the water and the midnight blue sky, but the border is overpowering.
Just some notes on post processing treatment. I love the actual photo. |

Silent Nightby gisliComment: Hell of a view. Super sharp and yet smooth. I wish the foreground were snowy instead of grassy, but that is seriously nitpicky and stupid. Awesome shot. |
