 Changed my entry (again) and at the last minute. Probably going further and further away from a decent score. For me that means going from a mid 5 to a high 4 so it is not going to affect my ribbon chances. Walking through the bush I saw this web and took the shot. I particularly liked the tangled image compared to the more traditional orbed webs that I also shot.

Beautiful image. Wonderful exposure, well spotted, some nice bokeh. Has a nice circular flow to it, and as the eye moves around and out it picks up more detail and glints of light. Great.
