Who knew you could shoehorn a waterdrop into a triangel challenge??? It is very interesting to see the triangular shaped splash. You did well with the complimentary colors too. Lighting is a little bright and uneven though.

Good eye for the shape! The house is documented well in the shot. The triangle shape in itself is a compositional element. It gives a feeling of strength in any photo. In order to kick this up a notch there ought to be more compositional elements used. For example unusual perspective, shallower depth of field, greater tonal range, use of different light such as the golden hours, etc...

The big bulky frame is uneccesary and detracts from the over all picture.

I think the shutter speed may be a tad low. I can see some evidence of camera shake at the left door and the people aren't very sharp.

Great color. Overall the photo is very dark. I understand the yellow light is supposed to stand out as a pop of color and it does well against the blue lighting. I just think the remainder of the photo is very dark.

Depth of field is a little shallow on this one. The nose is the only thing in focus. You really want that focus on the eyes.

I think there is somewhat of a movement to create end of life(style) photography, showing the sick or elderly in their natural element. I can appreciate the style. One thing I would do for this, if your intention was to make it that type of photo, would be to make it darker or low key. Here the bright light just doesn't portray the same emotion the woman is showing.

Looks like there is a white hot spot on the background at the right, also a grey one on his shirt at bottom right. You can clone that out in advanced editing.

Otherwise, very good one light portrait.

I think this is just a little too bright... Some of the details of the feathers are lost in the highlights. Good solid background.
