afternoon on Crystal pierby LevTComment: Very nice scene including the pier fence. Though it is more of a supporting element in the photo and not a feature element in my opinion, it does meet the challenge. You have done very well with the post processing capturing the texture in the boardwalk and the gloominess of the clouds as well as the color of the people present. It does lack interest due to the straight ahead, standing at normal height point of view. No real composition went into the making of the photo in my opinion thus prompting me to award an average score. |

It's All About Time and Defenceby bobkComment: You did nicely to center the fleur-de-liles and to use three of them. Some of the issues with this photo include the cluttered background, lack of detail in the black fence, and uneven lighting creating glare on the watch face and distractingly lit leaves... also I am not understanding the use of the stop watch here?? |

The Wild Sideby glad2badadComment: You got a dark and moody image using the color. It does seem a hair underexposed, which is probably what gave it the darkness, rather than just being the natural light. |

Out to Seaby KenComment: Interesting shapes and lines with the landscape, the horizon and the fence. Real good color. Technically sound image! |

Corner postby LadComment: Just a hair off on the focus. Either that or it wasn't quite sharpened enough. |

Lands Endby BrianRComment: Very cool Cross processing! You can really see all the greens, reds and blues across the entire image! The fence is the main subject which is fine, but I think this needs something more to make it a little more dynamic... people waling, a pop of color such as a beach ball, just a little something more. |

Man vs. Natureby GeneralEComment: This is a view not much noticed. Rugged and natural surroundings. The shot is lacking in any color and would probably be better in B&W. The bright light is a problem area. It does look like nature is going to win!! |

almost springby salmiakkiComment: The B&W version highlights the subject well and gives it a more emotive feel. The color version kind of highlights the sky more. |
