8.15 a.m. - Coffee Timeby Alex_PetriniComment: You could have done without the light painting on this. The color of the light is not complimentary and the shape is not very even. The light on the subjects is good. A little more shutter and it would have been better exposed. |

Time to goby StanleyDComment: I really don't get the set up on this... What is the empty poster frame for? And who puts a clock and a pot on their luggage when they are ready to go? It just doesn't make sense as a scene you would happen upon or to convey the message you are trying to convey. |

No Time In A Hurried Worldby jagarComment: Such a well executed concept. So many elements make this great for the challenge. The look on the person's face, them looking at their watch, their feet off the ground suggesting their hurried movement, the tight alleyway leading to the other person hurrying up behind them. Even though the shutter speed didn't allow for the capture of blurred movement, movement is portrayed well! The B&W and the street photography genre all add up to give this a 10.0 |

Passing the flameby gminkComment: You did really well capturing the color and detail of the flame but the message is a bit lost in the scale of the subject (ie. a small match verses a large torch or something of that sort). I would like to see some light on the hand. It would also have been nice to see another hand accepting the flame. you did really well using the rule of thirds on this! |

Tempus Fugitby mariucaComment: Fugit Abatit...
The two different lighting types conflict but you processed them nicely. I think the girl is stuck too far in the corner. It would have been nicer to recompose to put her in the third. |

Generationsby denisprayComment: This is real good because it is very hard to photograph 2D objects well. You have managed to show some depth which is a great feat. The light is even which is good. I do think the sand timer is a little misplaced and doesn't really belong as it is not an artifact or an heirloom in my opinion. (perhaps it belonged to someone special in your family, I do not know.) Something more personal like a pocket watch would have worked well. |
