I in the pastby thesaint77shComment: A very creative response to the challenge. I like the processing and details such as the broken vase, with the white lines echoing the white frame of the photo, and the texture of the surface below the vase. However, to my eyes there is something awkward about the placement of the photo element. It "cramps" the flower in the vase, which may be intentional and may have symbolic value that I am missing. I wonder how it would look with the old rose placed partially in front of the inserted photo? ... just a thought. But I still like this image a lot and it caused me to stop and want to understand it. Thank you. |

It's the journey, not the destination.by instepsComment: Exploring some of your portfolio and this jumped off the page for me. A wonderful B&W image with great textures, and I remember this boat from a visit to Georgetown a couple of years ago. |

charcoalby posthumousComment: Lovely soft image and patterns. This most certainly depicts the feel of a charcoal picture.

Practice Daily by bassboneComment: Congratulations on the well deserved ribbon. Not easy to shoot with all those highly reflective surfaces. I know the year I made a point to practices the cello at least 6 days a week was the year I made most progress! |
