A Fisherman's Tale

Looks like she was a beauty in her time.

Lovely composition. One's eye is drawn along the boat, through the village, and off into the hills. But most of all I love the detail of the stones, the flaking paint, and the seaweed in the lower third of the image which taken together ground the boat in place. The seaweed over the stern and port gunnel suggest that she no longer floats at high tide. Altogether a lovely and intriguing image. Hope it ribbons. Thanks.

As an injury prevention researcher for many years, I have to say what a wonderful advance the introduction of this type of glass in automobile windshields was. I like the sculptural, 3-D feel of this image more each time I look at it. Good light.
